Deep and Sound
You are just a miner who tries to make a living. In a cave with zombies. And lots of treasures.
Hints/Controls
Down Arrow while standing on a draisine (a cart with a lever) will move the whole train in the opposite direction.
Up Arrow while below an ore will mine it. A cart must be present to collect it.
The only way to kill the zombies is to run them over with the minecarts!
You have to fill all the carts with any ore (but you can't mix them!) to proceed to the next level.

Its game not very cool
I’m sorry to hear that! Could you please tell what you didn’t like and how I could make it better?
You can see how much love went into this one. A unique concept never seems anything like this. Good learning curve and amazing premises. If I were to improve one thing, it would be the game feel. It feels a bit off. Slightly Rigid. Top20 overall for sure.
Hi The0r :P
This is a nice and simple game to play! I like the idea and simplicity of the gameplay. Outside of a game jam, a tutorial level would have been pretty good because I was confused for a little bit on what to do. Perhaps not spawning any zombies until the player mines 1 or 2 ores would have been enough as a mini-tutorial so the player could get a feel with the game. Also, maybe repeatedly pressing the down key to move the whole train would be better so it would have a more immediate feedback to the player instead of just holding down the down key to gradually move the train. I think this way, it wouldn't feel that "slow". Other than that, I think this quite a good game for a 2-day game jam. The art and gameplay feel great together. Moving the train to align the carts to the ores is quite fun as the main game mechanic and if you were to update and build on top of that, this game would be a fun game to play on-the-go on my phone. Very cool and great job! ;)
Hey Kiwi!
Great idea about disabling zombies until player mined 1-2 ores, I’ll definitely do that! There’s a text tutorial already in the development build, just waiting on the voting period to end to upload it. :-)
About the train, do you mean just “teleport” it on pressing the down key or build up the speed faster? I personally like the way it is now, you can clearly feel the train’s weight as it speeds up gradually. But you gave me another great idea - I should set the train speed depending on the amount of carts. So it will be very fast at the beginning and will slow down as you get more carts.
So, wow, your suggestions are very helpful!
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback as always, and I really appreciate that you keep playing all my games. :-D
About moving the train, a very small teleport as well as a few particles or any other visual cue along with also building up speed is what I was referring to when repeatedly pressing the down key, but it's just a suggestion and I don't know if it would feel better for the game or it would actually make it worse :P How it is now is fine and I'd get used to it after a while. I think the train speed depending on the size of the train is a good idea too, but as I always tell myself on designing games, no one really knows if it's good or not until you try it, so good luck! And keep making great games ;)
